We are in Brussels
Our Federation has started since 2014 an EU affairs strategy which main aim is to represent the sector to key EU stakeholders, especially the European Commission and European Parliament.
For this purpose, a strong link has been established with the European DIY-Retail Association (EDRA) in the past years. The two associations have reached substantial achievement and introduced the Code of Conduct signed in Brussels in February 2015.
HIMA Lobby centre takes lobby definition to the next level. Consolidating EU policy knowledge and International expertise, we enable our members to strengthen their brand value on international level.
On 8 October 2014, the Boards of EDRA and fediyma signed an industry-wide Code of Practice on Retailer-Supplier relations. The Code sets out a series of principles to be respected by all signatories and a process for remedying any problems between retailers and suppliers.
